E71T-1C/9C - Flux Cored Welding Wire
Used for welding structures made of carbon steel and low-alloy structural steel with tensile strength higher than or equal to 490MPa.Most widely used for welding some key structures like shipbuilding, mechanical manufacture, pressure vessels, boilers, petroleum machinery, chemical machinery, hoisting machinery, etc.
What is E71T
E71T-1C is a kind of titania type CO2 gas-shielded flux-cored welding wire for low-carbon steel and 490MPa high strength steel..It has excellent welding performance, soft and stable arc, fewer spatters, good slagdetachability and beautifulappearance of weld. It has excellent low temperature toughness,goodcrack-resistance andstable and reliable inherent quality.
How E71T Works
During welding, the flux core of the E71T wire generates a protective gas shield when it reacts with the heat of the arc. This shield protects the weld pool from atmospheric contamination, ensuring a clean and stable weld bead. The self-shielding nature of E71T makes it highly convenient for outdoor and windy conditions where using an external shielding gas may be challenging.
Our E71T welding consumable is composed of several key components that work together to ensure optimal welding performance. The product structure includes:
- Steel Core: The steel core provides the strength and structural integrity to the welding wire, enabling smooth feeding through the welding torch.
- Flux Compound: The flux compound is situated within the core of the wire and is responsible for generating the shielding gas during welding.
- Outer Sheath: The outer sheath acts as a protective layer for the core, ensuring the integrity of the welding wire during storage and handling.
